Eliminate Sugar For More Quick Results

I hear where you’re coming from. We’ve gotten a ton of replies to my last email suggesting that eliminating grains would bring quick results.

Some folks said they’d heard that before. Some said it was impossible or not worth it or just too extreme.

Well I don’t know about you, but I’m serious this year. I’m absolutely fed up with the Yo-Yo roller coaster and I’m going to do what it takes to stop the ride. I followed Dr. Scott’s recommendation and eliminated grains some time ago – and I can tell you it’s been a good thing for me.

Today’s recommendation is going to seem even more radical – and it may even be harder to implement. But I can attest from personal experience, that even if it didn’t bring incredible weight loss results, the way it will make you feel makes this step well worth it.

First, let’s review. As we talked about before, the number one thing you must do to lose weight and keep it off is keep your blood sugar in check. Any time you have more glucose in your system than your body can immediately use it will be stored as fat.

And there’s one thing all of us eat way too much of that instantly spikes our blood sugar. Its effect is so immediate because it doesn’t have to be converted into glucose.

Of course, I’m talking about sugar. Sugar shows up in your cereal, your drinks, in bread, salad dressing, and the obvious cookies, cakes, candies and soda.

It’s been estimated that 100 years ago, the average American consumed about 1 pound of sugar a year. Today, estimates are that we wolf down as much as half a pound every single day.

Coincidentally, that rise in sugar consumption directly corresponds to the rise in obesity, cancers, heart disease and a whole host of other “modern” diseases.

Our bodies simply weren’t designed to process so much of this addictive substance. And if you don’t believe me that sugar is addictive, keep reading. And pay attention to how you feel as you implement today’s action plan.

Because today’s action plan is to eliminate sugar from your diet. Completely stop consuming it. Yes, it’s hard – very hard. But together with avoiding grains, avoiding sugar will make a fast, positive difference in what your scale tells you every week.

And here’s how I know sugar is such an addictive substance. Because every time I’ve cut it out of my diet, either the first time or because I’d “fallen off the wagon” and spent a day or two eating it, I’ve felt miserable. And I’m not alone by a long shot.

You can count on a few days of sluggishness and a serious headache. You’ll possibly be irritable. You’ll want something sweet so bad you’ll think about hurting someone for it.

Kinda sounds like drug withdrawals to me.

But I can promise you from experience that when you come out on the other side, you’ll be glad you stuck with it. Your mind will be clearer, you’ll have more energy. You’ll be able to focus better and feel an emotional calmness that may seem pretty unfamiliar.

And best of all, the numbers on your scale will start to decrease.

We’ll go into a lot more detail about this, and other common-sense changes you can make that will get those pounds falling off for real this time, at our upcoming webinar. So, I hope you’ll join us for:
